It is our pleasure to cordially invite you to the 41st Meeting of the European Paediatric Ophthalmological Society EPOS that will take place in Saint Petersburg, Russia, from 25th to 27th of June 2015.

Saint Petersburg is a cultural center of Russia, “Northern Venice”, “the city of bridges”. This amazing city has lots of name variations. Besides this is the second-place large megapolis among all other cities of Russia. Frankly speaking just a few cities in the whole world can enumerate the same number of historical places, theatres, museums and galleries. They say: if you open your heart to St. Petersburg, it will love you with all its soul. Despite the weather changes and strong northern winds St. Petersburg will take a special place in your heart. In the middle of June Saint Petersburg has its famous White nights and the weather is rather warm and comfortable, but it might be raining and windy. The average temperature is about +15°C-+22°C.
The main topic for this year is Innovations in Paediatric Ophthalmology. The organizing committee is intending to compose a diversified program of high specific level. As usual, free papers and posters from other fields are also welcome. Time scheduled for oral presentation: 7 min + 3 min discussion, for rapid fire: 2 min + 1 min discussion.
To encourage young scientists to participate, presenters of 35 years or younger may apply for a travel grant. The final decision about the travel grants will be made April 5th and will be communicated directly afterwards. Rules for application can be found at the website.
As in previous years, there is a technical exhibit. We encourage you to visit the exhibit during the coffee and lunch breaks. We would like to thank all exhibitors for their significant efforts to support this meeting.
